"It’s a well-made piece, 5-Stars!"

Bruce shared a truly special and meaningful moment with his Winchester Model 98 Signal Cannon. On June 21, 2025, during the funeral of his father, a WWII Navy sailor who served aboard the USS Bordelon in 1945, the cannon was fired in a salute of honor by his grandson, a Corporal in the USMC.

Bruce describes it simply: “It’s a well-made piece,” and gives it 5-stars for quality. The cannon served as a powerful tribute to a life of service and sacrifice, making it part of a timeless family tradition at their farm in New York.

Thank you Bruce, for allowing Winchester to be part of such a meaningful family moment, we’re honored to be a small part of your legacy.
